Need Something Repaired?

If something needs repaired or maintained at the property you’re renting from us, please contact your Property Manager as soon as you can. This also applies if you accidentally break or damage something – say, a window or a cupboard door. Our maintenance team can take care of all repair and maintenance jobs quickly and cheaply.

We have long term relationships with our Trades team and have been working with most of them for over 15 years, and we value their professional standards. We use only professional licensed and insured tradespeople. This loyalty from our Trades team means our Work Orders go to the top of the list, and it also means should anything go wrong (which can happen 😊) they are happy to return to the job quickly. Emergencies are responded to quickly and professionally and because of our string working relationships with them, their rates are competitive.

Maintenance is usually completed pretty quickly, which helps keep unnecessary costs down. The maintenance team are fully accountable for ensuring all Work Orders are completed within a reasonable time frame.

Requesting Maintenance

The first thing to do is report the issue to your Property Manager. You should do this as soon as possible to minimise any possible damage. There are several ways for you to get in touch with us concerning maintenance:

  1. Send an email to your Property Manager, or to office@managemyproperty.co.nz
  2. Call your Property Manager on their mobile number – you’ll find that number on your Tenancy Agreement, and on their business card
  3. Text your Property Manager on their mobile number
  4. Call our main office on 0800 277 299

If you’re trying to contact managemyproperty outside normal office hours, or on the weekend, email or text is the most effective way to get in touch. If you get voicemail, leave a message with your name, contact phone number, and the address of your property. One of the team will pick up that message and call you back as soon as possible.
